Hours & Admission

Hours of Operation: Mondays to Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Walk-in General Admission: July – August only
Pre-booked Guided Tours: Year-round
Tour schedule: Mondays to Saturdays at 10 AM, 1 PM & 3 PM
We require at least 24 hours of advanced notice to organize a tour.

Guided tours are approximately one hour and include the galleries and the Lawson archaeological Site. Book an Activity along with your tour to make the most of your experience (see below)!

Guided Tour pricing:

  • Up to 5 people: $35
  • Up to 10 people: $70
  • Additional person charge: $6

General Admission pricing:

  • $8.00 for adults
  • $6.00 for seniors and students
  • $7 for children (age 5-12)
  • $20 for families (of up to 5)

Indigenous people receive free general admission to the Museum.

Pay close attention during your tour! Our “Trowelblazer” game includes trivia questions focusing on archaeology.

Up to 5 people:
$50 (one activity)
$60 (two activities)

Up to 10 people:
$100 (one activity)
$120 (two activities)

11+ people add an additional
$9 (one activity) per person
$12 (two activities) per person

Activity schedule: Tuesdays to Saturdays at 10 AM & 1 PM
Tours are 1 hour in length and activities are 30 minutes each.

The Museum of Ontario Archaeology is located in a residential cul-de-sac near Wonderland Road and Fanshawe Park Road in London, Ontario.

Interpretive Aids

  • Self-guided tour brochures are available in English, Large Print English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian, Polish, Simple and Traditional Chinese, and Swedish at the front desk.

  • Service Ramp
  • Accessible gallery exhibits.
  • The grounds of the outdoor Lawson Site are laid with wood chips and pose difficulties for some visitors to travel across.

Restrooms and Changing

  • Gender-friendly, mobility-accessible adult-sized washrooms available by the Collections & Research entrance.
  • Adult-sized changing tables available on request. Contact us. 
  • Child-sized changing tables available in women’s and men’s washrooms by the gift-shop.

Support Workers & Service Animals

  • Support Persons/Attendants for visitors with disabilities receive free admission.
  • Guide dogs and service animals are welcome in all public-facing areas of the museum. Please notify us ahead of time if you will be bringing a support animal to the MOA.
