Pre-booked Guided Tours: Year-round
Pre-booked Tour schedule: Tuesdays to Fridays, between 10 AM and 3 PM (subject to staff availability). Please contact us or fill out an inquiry form if you are interested in visiting the museum for a pre-booked tour!
We require at least 24 hours of advanced notice to organize a pre-booked tour.
Please Note: The Museum of Ontario Archaeology is now returning to our fall & winter hours. We will be open for Pre-Booked guided tours. Please use the below inquiry form to inquire about a tour!
Guided tours are approximately one hour and include the galleries and the Lawson archaeological Site. Book an Activity along with your tour to make the most of your experience (see below)!
Pre-Booked Guided Tour pricing:
- Up to 5 people: $35
- Up to 10 people: $70
- Additional person charge: $6
General Admission pricing:
- $8.00 for adults
- $7.00 for seniors and students
- $7.00 for children (age 5-12)
- $20.00 for families (of up to 5)
Free general admission for First Nations, Inuit & Métis.

11+ people add an additional

Activity schedule: Mondays to Saturdays at 10 AM & 1 PM subject to guide’s availability.
Tours are 1 hour in length and activities are 30 minutes each.

- Paved accessible parking is available.
- Service Ramp
- Accessible gallery exhibits.
- The grounds of the outdoor Lawson Site are laid with wood chips and pose difficulties for some visitors to travel across.
Restrooms and Changing
- Gender-friendly, mobility-accessible adult-sized washrooms available by the Collections & Research entrance.
- Adult-sized changing tables available on request. Contact us.
- Child-sized changing tables available in women’s and men’s washrooms by the gift-shop.
Support Workers & Service Animals
- Support Persons/Attendants for visitors with disabilities receive free general admission.
- Guide dogs and service animals are welcome in all public-facing areas of the museum. Please notify us ahead of time if you will be bringing a support animal to the MOA.
