Outreach: 28th Indigenous Solidarity Day – Wortley Village

The 28th annual Indigenous Solidarity Day in celebration of First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities within the local region takes place on June 21st, 2024 on the Green in Wortley Village.

The Museum of Ontario Archaeology is excited to participate in this wonderful event taking place in Wortley Village on the Green from 12 PM to 4 PM. Throughout the day the event will feature a Dancers, Food, Vendors, Community Service Providers, and more!

Our booth will have exciting activities such as these awesome dig kits which have a variety of fun items to discover as well as clay to make pinch pots at our booth.
