Special Full Day Programs
Life in a Longhouse
This hands-on program will explore the everyday life of the 16th-century Attawandaron who lived in the Lawson Village. Students will prepare and taste samples of traditional foods, such as Three Sisters soup and corn bread, play traditional games, and more!
- Outdoor Program: Available year round (indoor version will be substituted in inclement weather).
- Maximum of 30 students
Archaeologist for a Day
Become an archaeologist! Students will discover a variety of archaeological methods and participate in a simulated excavation, handle real artifacts and create pottery to take home.
- Indoor and outdoor versions available.
- Outdoor available approximately: April-October (indoor version will be substituted in inclement weather).
- Maximum of 50 students
