Our March Break Day Camp allows children to discover Ontario archaeology, natural and cultural history, the environment, and science through simulated excavations, artifact exploration, and experiments that help them connect to and learn about the past.

This year, join us for an epic journey through time! This March Break, campers will embark on The Great Ontario Odyssey, a week-long adventure through our province’s rich history, vibrant environment, and future potential. From the frozen landscapes of the Ice Age to the green solutions of tomorrow, every day is a new era to discover.

Through hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and creative crafts, campers will learn how the land has shaped us and how we can shape the land for the better.

Each day campers will learn about what it was like during different time periods and learn more about the local environment and history.

Megafauna Monday (Ice Age Giants & People): On our first day, campers will step back 11,000 years! Campers will discover the world of Woolly Mammoths and Mastodons, explore how the glaciers carved our Great Lakes, and learn how the First Peoples survived in Ontario’s icy beginnings.

Traveler Tuesday (Secret Trails & Riverways): Before roads, there were rivers. On Tuesday, campers will follow the secret trails of the Archaic Period, understanding the art of navigation, learning more about canoe culture, and learning how ancient travelers moved with the seasons.

Woodland Wednesday (The Forest Farm-acy): Discover the “Living Ontario.” During the Woodland Period, the forest was both a grocery store and a medicine cabinet. On Wednesday, campers will identify important regional plants and learn about early agriculture.

Tech & Tool Thursday (Changing Environment): What tools did people use to thrive on this land, and how did they change over time? On Thursday campers will explore how new materials transformed everyday objects—from stone and bone, to clay, copper and steel. Campers will get hands-on with the evolution of innovation while exploring concepts of land-use.

 Future Guardians Friday (The Present & Beyond): The Odyssey continues with you! On our final day, we become stewards of the land. Campers will engage in modern conservation challenges and design projects to protect Ontario’s environment for generations to come.

Camp is open to campers ages 6 to 12* and will run from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day. Drop off begins at 8:30 AM and pickup begins at 3:45 PM with the latest pickup being 4:30 PM.

Cost for the week: $275.00

Daily Rate: $65.00

*Children turning 6 by the end of 2026 are welcome to join camp.

Space is limited for this time-traveling adventure. Secure your spot and help your child find their place in the Great Ontario Odyssey!

Please note: The MOA requires a minimum of 24 hours’ advance notice for all camp registrations to ensure proper preparation. Registrations submitted with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be accommodated.

Day Camp Cancellation & Refund Policy:

Cancellations received seven days or more prior to the start date of camp are subject to a cancellation fee of 20%. No refunds will be issued for cancellations with less than one week’s notice.
