LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! Volunteer Actors Needed
Does your child love to be in the spotlight? Have you always dreamed of being an actor?
The Museum of Ontario Archaeology is currently shooting a series of videos about the museum and is looking for volunteer actors. Videos will be used to promote the museum’s programs and will appear on social media platforms and the museum’s website (www.archaeologymuseum.ca).
YOUTH and CHILD ACTORS (Volunteer)
We are looking for children age 7 to 12 who want be actors in one of our videos. The kids will participate in museum activities on camera such as a tour, archaeological excavation and crafts. No script or experience needed, participation is with the instructor. We are looking for outgoing kids who listen well to instructions, are positive, and playful. Parents are welcome to stay on set, but cannot be on camera.
Shooting will be on July 31, 2014 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. The activities are weather dependent. Parents will receive confirmation at the beginning of the week if the weather appears to be suitable.
A video permission form must be signed by a parent or guardian before a child can be allowed to participate.
A pizza party will be held after the shoot to thank all our volunteer actors.

ADULT ACTORS (Volunteer) * WE STILL NEED MORE ADULT ACTORS
We are looking for adult background actors, male and female for a variety of scenes in the museum’s galleries, gift shop, and entrance. No script or experience needed. We prefer people who enjoy acting and are outgoing, but everyone is welcome to sign up. We need a maximum of ten people, first come first served.
Shooting will be on August 1, 2014 during the day, from 1:00 to 3:30 pm.
A video permission form must be signed prior to being involved in the video shoot.
