Arva Flour Mill Heritage Festival
October 4th & 5th

The MOA is excited to be attending the Arva Flour Mill Heritage Festival!

The weekend festival celebrates the history of Canada’s oldest commercial flour mill and will feature free guided tours of the mill, a BBQ fundraiser, family-friendly activities, and a local vendor market.

Stop by the MOA table on October 4th and say hello to our Community Engagement Director, Sean. He will have some artifacts on display and will be demonstrating his flint knapping skills! The London chapter of the Ontario Archaeological Society will be there on October 5th.

Did you know? The Arva Flour Mill is located on Medway Creek – the same creek that flows through the ravine on the east side of the Lawson Site and eventually joins the north branch of the Thames River by Western University.
