Ancient Grains and Honey- An Afternoon Tea at the MOA

November 26, 2024 @ 2:00 pm 4:00 pm

The Museum of Ontario Archaeology is pleased to introduce new programming this fall tailored for adult groups aged 55 and over.

Join us on November 26th for a special afternoon tea at the MOA! Dustin from the historic Arva Flour Mills will share the fascinating story of ancient grains now featured at the mill, complete with a sampling of their delicious baked goods. Plus, Ellie from LOLA Bees will be buzzing with insights about our on-site urban apiary, offering a unique glimpse into the world of bees and pollinator plants right here at the Museum. Don’t miss this delightful blend of history, food, and nature!

Cost is $25 and includes the presentations and admission to view the MOA gallery space and Lawson site. Tea and baked goods will also be provided!

Payment will be taken on the day of the presentation at the Museum’s front desk. Pre-Registration is required in order to hold your spot.

This event is currently full! We have created a waitlist for individuals who are still interested in attending!

This new programming is made possible through the Ontario Seniors Community Grant. The Museum of Ontario Archaeology gratefully acknowledges the financial support provided by the Government of Ontario.
