Summer Day Camp 2014

Explore camp all summer with four great themes to choose from! Learn about Canada’s First Peoples, travel on a Journey Across Canada, explore Earth’s Endangered Animals,  and discover Archaeology Around the World with your fellow campers!

This Summer is filled with fun games, crafts, friendship, and discoveries.
* We are FULL for the last week of camp this summer!

Summer Day Camp runs from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
Drop off 8:15 to 8:30 / Pickup 4:30 to 4:45

Our Camp program is perfect for children aged 5 to 9.

Register for the week or come for a couple of days!

  • Museum Members:  $30/day or $125/week
  • Non Members: $35/day or $135/week

Combine multiple weeks for discounts!

Dig It Archaeology Camp

July 9-11 and August 13-15, 2014

Camp runs from 8:30 to 4:30. Drop off  8:15 to 8:30   Pickup 4:30 to 4:45

“Dig into Archaeology” camp is a great opportunity for Youth Ages 10 – 14 to explore the field of archaeology. This 3 day camp inspires the archaeologist in everyone!

- Day one is spent exploring the science of Archaeology
- Day two examines Ontario Archaeology with the First Nation’s history,
- Day three branches out into World Archaeology

Time will be spent between the museum public archaeology lab, the reconstructed Iroquoian village and simulated digging on the site with museum archaeologists.

Rates:

One day                           $35.00
Three days                       $100.00
