ASI – Material Culture Analyst in Historical Archaeology

ASI Heritage is seeking a Material Cultural Analyst in Historical Archaeology

The Mitigation Division conducts Stage 3 assessments and Stage 4 mitigative excavations of historical sites in the province of Ontario. These range from domestic rural sites in an agricultural context to urban sites in a complicated man-made landscape. The division is seeking a material culture analyst to compile databases that will be used to complete final reports on Stages 3 and 4 historical site excavations.

Note: This is a 6 month contract, business hours Monday to Friday; contract renewal possible. The position will be based out of ASI’s Bathurst St. office in Toronto.

Applications are invited for a probationary (tenure-track) appointment in the area of Biological Anthropology in the Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Social Sciences, Western University at the rank of Assistant Professor effective July 1, 2017, or as negotiated. If qualifications and experience warrant a higher rank, consideration may be given to an appointment at the Associate Professor (probationary, tenure-track) or Professor (tenured) level. \

The position is located in London, Ontario.
